Protests of Jason Stockley Verdict in St. Charles on September 22

A week after Jason Stockley was acquitted in the shooting death of Anthony Lamar Smith protesters gathered in St. Charles, Missouri. This was the eighth day in a row that an action had taken place. Protesters met at the St. Louis Outlet Mall in Hazelwood, Missouri which closed early after the location was posted to social media. The group then drove to the second location with cars following each other, the location was not given out. The protest passed the annual Oktoberfest event and then walked through the Main Street bar district where patrons and protesters argued and one man was arrested after hitting a protester. The protest marched to the Ameristar Casino and dispersed shortly after that.
